充滿挑戰性的2020年施工季節已經結束。在第一場雨來之前，工人及時的完成了所有的冬季防備工作，包括一切的排雨水設施。

After a challenging 2020 construction season, the onsite crew finished winterizing the site in time for the first rains of the season. Completed preparation includes all storm water drainage facilities.

之前緩衝區內的景觀設計也有穩定的進展。緩衝區是第一期東邊的一個大空曠區域。目前第一期外圍已經安裝了主要的灌溉水管道。園藝景觀用的灌溉用水也延伸到了該緩衝區。

Earlier in the year, steady progress was made in the landscape plan of the buffer zone. The buffer zone is a large open area to the east of the Phase 1 site. Main irrigation pipes are now in installed in the outskirts of Phase 1 area and extend to this buffer zone.

之前缓冲区内的景观设计也有稳定的进展。缓冲区是第一期东边的一个大空旷区域。目前第一期外围已经安装了主要的灌溉水管道。园艺景观用的灌溉用水也延伸到了该缓冲区。

第2期方案設計

設計組和呂建築師一直在努力進行第二期的方案設計。第二期的建築群除了包含主要的三大建築物大殿，齋堂，法堂外，也包括鐘鼓樓、公共廁所、廣場之山門、無障礙通道等。

Phase 2 Schematic Design

The design team along with Architect Lu have been working hard on the schematic design for Phase 2. Besides the three major structures of main hall, dining hall and the library building, Phase 2 also includes the bell and drum towers, public restroom buildings, courtyard entry gate structure, accessible paths etc.

设计组和吕建筑师一直在努力进行第二期的方案设计。第二期的建筑群除了包含主要的三大建筑物大殿，斋堂，法堂外，也包括钟鼓楼、公共厕所、广场之山门、无障碍通道等。

有關向郡政府提出放寬高度限制，將大殿從50英呎調高為65英呎的申請，由於郡政府規劃專員要求製作一份視覺分析之補充報告，進度略為延後，原來第一次公聽會將於本年十二月中旬進行，可是由於疫情影響，推遲到了2021年一月份。

Height Variance Application

Regarding the status of the Height Variance application to increase the height of the Assembly Hall from 50 feet to 65 feet, additional visual analysis was submitted to the Mendocino county planner. The hearing has been postponed due to COVID-19. The first hearing was originally scheduled to be in mid-December of 2020. However it has been delayed to January of 2021.
