Provide training for sincere and serious lay-practitioners to develop genuine understanding of the Buddhadharma so they may continue into monastic training or take on the duty of supporting and protecting the Dharma.
Provide a setting for dialogue and exchange among the religious, philosophical, and ethical traditions of the world.
Establish a translation center to undertake translation projects and train individuals talented in languages in the translation of Buddhist texts.
Model a simple way of life consisting of rigorous cultivation based on the Six Principles established by the Venerable Master (respect, generosity, contentment, caring, selflessness, and honesty).
